Sports Lounge + Restaurant; Brandon, Manitoba + Yorkton Saskatchewan

 

GW Architecutre Inc. was contracted by Crane Steel and Joe Beeverz to prepare the design and construction documents for their two restaurant locations in Brandon, Manitoba and Yorkton, Saskatchewan. Our team worked closely with the owner to translate his vision into a functional space within existing commercial units.

The projects included a complete tenant fit-up as the lease-able spaces acquired did not include commercial kitchens. Our process to complete the design and construction documents of the space relied heavily on the Integrated Design Process as the client had very particular and unique requirements to provide a full-service dining experience with the capacity to prepare meals in the time frame of a fast food restaurant.

 

We worked closely with the client to ensure the layouts of their kitchens promoted the efficiency of their food preparation and cooking times. The kitchen included multiple deep fryers, grills, an oven, warmers, walk-in coolers and freezers.

The restaurants were designed to emulate the passion of Canadians in a sports fan atmosphere. The result being a modern sports bar with authentically Canadian dishes and memorabilia throughout.

These projects were completed successfully within a condensed time-frame with the entire schedule spanning six to eight months from project start-up to occupancy.
